Photos By Villagers

Throughout the years, villagers have shared laughter, celebrated achievements, enjoyed activities together, and supported one another through sad times. The photographs below capture some of these special moments. They are important because they help us remember not only the good times, but also the challenges we have faced together as a community. While these images represent only a small glimpse into village life, each one tells part of our story and helps preserve these memories for future generations.

Sadly on the 14th May 2011, a fire broke out, which started from a spark from the chimney at Lilliput Cottage. Unfortunately it quickly spread to the other ajoining thatched cottages. It was touch and go, at one stage, as to whether the Village Hall would be saved.

It took a year and a half restore the cottages to their fomer glory.
